"Sir, I have read your book, and it is both good and original -

The Birthplace Book Club has been launched at the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum in Lichfield for readers to get together every month to discuss an agreed book selection in an informal atmosphere.  Readers are invited to share their own thoughts, ideas and feelings with other group members

The group has an open membership and meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 1-2.30pm at the museum. Interested new members should obtain further details from Annette French, Museums and Heritage Officer, Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum, Breadmarket Street, Lichfield, Staffs, WS13 6LG, tel: 01543 264972, fax: 01543 414779, email:sjmuseum@lichfield.gov.uk

Next month's book,7th February, is Tony Parsons' Man and Boy, which I got for Christmas

(check access with Annette - Museum is Grade 1 listed with stairs)
